Fisherman's Cottage offers all the comforts of home in a beautifully restored and cared for original Salmon Creek beach cottage. The comfortably furnished interior is tastefully decorated with an ocean motif throughout.
An open floor plan common area with living room, kitchen and dining area is perfect for a small group of friends and family to gather, eat, and relax after a day exploring the Sonoma County coastline.
The brand new gas fireplace creates a peaceful, cozy ambiance for your evenings on the couch, glass of wine in hand, and surrounded by fabulous friends . French doors off the kitchen open to a deck space with outdoor dining table and Gas BBQ!"

What is Spring like at Northern California Beaches?
The weather is usually mild and sunny and generally fog-free through May! Expect temperatures to range from Mid 50’s to Mid 70’s. Some say the Spring is the best season to visit! Wild poppy, iris, red hot poker, and sea foam plants carpet the headlands, while the sun shines clear and bright.
1. Explore the beaches, sand dunes and tidepools! The beaches are much less crowded!
2. You will likely be able to see baby seals being born and baby sandpipers and other seabirds frolicking!
3. Good chance of spotting Whales migrating along the coast. Peak season is January through May!
4. A Foodie's paradise! Fresh seafood, from succulent Dungeness crab to Pacific salmon, graces the tables. Farm-to-table dining highlights seasonal produce.

Went with my wife and two little kids and had a great time. The house is in a really cute part town with old wooden cottages and is across the street from a big beach with sand dunes.

Nice little fishing cottage close to a beach. Bring the beach chairs and some beer and snack. Even when the weather is foggy and gray, sitting on the beach and listening to the waves is always relaxing. The cottage has a nice bed, a full kitchen and great dining area. We did not use the observations deck as it was too foggy but on a clear night it is without a doubt awesome.Make sure you bring printed or saved instructions. We had no cell coverage outside the the house so good thing I wrote down the lock box code.The next decent sized grocery store is quite some ways away, so it probably pays to stop for supplies before you get there.

This is my second visit to Fisherman's Cottage and we loved it. The cottage is charming and the location is perfect for a quiet get-away, but also close enough to do some exploring in the area. <br/>We would like to suggest that guests are notified of garbage day (we were not prepared the morning of the trucks arrival and parked too close to the walkway, making it hard for them to gather the bins. We also had a bit of an ant issue on the counter at the stove near the refrigerator. (Not a major issue, but we realized we couldn't leave food out). We loved using the fireplace and appreciate easy directions on use. We would suggest that 1-2 boxes of facial tissue be available for your guests. Also, in the second bedroom, the switches for the above beds lights were reversed(lots of cords and extensions) so the first night the light was left on as the switch could not be located. (the light above the bed closest to the window did not work)...I loved the main bedroom! The heated mattress pad was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable! We enjoyed everything, even ventured up to the crows nest to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Great time....thanks

This attractive and cozy home had everything we needed. It was a very short walk to the beach and close to a variety of hikes, restaurants and beach walks. Just what we needed!

This charming cottage is a great home base central to Bodega Bay beach life. Loved coming back from a day of exploring to simply relax on the beach & in the cottage. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was the absolute best! All the comforts of home at our fingertips. The only problem was we didn’t stay longer! Highly recommend this gem to anyone wanting to escape city life for rest, relaxation & exploration
